The PHM 2012 Conference Planning Committee invites tutorials that address the interests of its varied audience. In 2012, tutorials will take place on Monday Sep 24. The committee is planning a maximum of 4 such tutorials for 2012. As tutorials are educational events they should provide a comprehensive introduction to the state-of-the-art in the tutorial’s topic. Proposed tutorials must address the interests of a varied audience: beginners, developers, designers, researchers, practitioners, and decision makers who wish to learn a given aspect of prognostic health management.
We welcome submissions of tutorial proposals on all major topics related to system health management, but not limited to:
- PHM system design and engineering
- Diagnosis and fault isolation methods
- Asset health management
- Condition-Based Maintenance policies
- Standards and methodologies
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Life Cycle and Risk Management Methodologies
Tutorials may focus entirely on theoretical aspects; however, we encourage organizers to incorporate hands-on sessions where appropriate. The tutorials should reach a good balance between the topic coverage and its relevance to the community.
Tutorial proposals will be accepted until June 15, 2012 and should be submitted directly to the Tutorial Chairs.
They should include the following information: (i) topic, rationale, and format; (ii) list of presenters, along with biographical sketches and short abstracts of presentations; (iii) tentative schedule.
