Typically the secondary suspension of railway vehicles consist of air-springs. Air spring consists of the mounting, and rubber-cord elastic chamber filled with compressed gas (usually air). There different regulation concepts for the connection of air-springs within a car.
In the data challenge the secondary spring is modeled as a single force element per bogie.
