The 2017 Annual Conference of the Prognostics and Health Management Society will be held Monday, 2 October 2017 through Thursday, 5 October 2017 at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, St. Petersburg, Florida.

This Ninth Annual Conference of the PHM Society will bring together the global community of PHM experts from industry, academia, and government in diverse application areas such as energy, aerospace, transportation, automotive, and industrial automation. In addition to technical paper sessions, the conference will also feature workshops, panel sessions, a dedicated session on fielded systems, a doctoral symposium, and tutorials free to all registrants. Leading companies and research institutions will present their latest work, products and predictive technologies during the event. Several social events will provide opportunities for participants to connect with colleagues. The PHM Society will also offer a separate, dedicated Short Course focused on fundamental PHM concepts and techniques immediately preceding the Conference at the same hotel venue.

Please note that all articles published by the PHM Society are available to the global PHM community via the internet for free and without any restrictions. Selected papers will be invited for publication on the International Journal of Prognostics and Health Management, an open access online journal for the global PHM community.

St. Petersburg is on Florida’s gulf coast, part of the Tampa Bay area. It is well known for its pleasant weather (“Sunshine City” is its nickname), making it popular for golfing, boating, fishing, beach lounging, and many water sports. Its waterfront parks host the Dali Museum, featuring surrealist art; the Museum of Fine Arts, with a range of ancient to contemporary works; and Mahaffey Theater, home of the Florida Orchestra. There is much to do in the area so please plan to come for the conference and leave time to explore and enjoy the area as well.
