    Hello,

    I want know if the data for training and test represents a cutter from new to failure state? For example in the cutter 1 there are 315 file of cuts. The question is, are 315 cuts the “failure time” for the cutter 1?

    No, 315 cuts is not failure. Each cut causes a particular amount of wear. When wear reaches a certain level, the cutter is worn out. That may occur in 200 cuts, or 600 cuts.
